Red Sea 130D & AI Hydra 26

Hey Guys,

The T5 bulbs that came with the tank are on the way out and will need to be replaced in the not too distant future.

I am thinking maybe it is time to go hoodless and LED.

I found a 2nd hand AI Hydra 26.

Is this overkill for a Red Sea 130D?

Any advice or guidance is appreciated.

I think you will be fine with a Hydra 26 over that tank. I was using 2 over my 40 and they worked great. You will likely not need it at 100%, but will get great coverage and spread.

Current tank: 40B work in progress w/20L sump
